KR3 applies our trademark "Ink Dot Certified"
label on the face grain on Canadian Rock Maple
and Hi-Impact Birch models as specified by
Professional Baseball (Ash does not require an
ink dot test). This is accurately measured with
a Pro supplied test gauge to ensure the face
grain wood cells are straight. "Ink Dot
Certified" means that the bat has passed the Pro
standard.
The Finest Quality
Triple X No. 1 White straight grain and the Best from the
Northern Forests. Unique vacuum drying process
since 1985 to enhance hardness, prevent flaking
and maximize the maple effect of its close grain
texture. Carefully handed sanded for maximum

The Story
KR3 Our
company emerged from a factory that began in 1908.
Throughout the past 100 years skills and techniques were
past down through many generations of families whose
dedication and passion to be the best bat makers paid
off. Over 70,000 Major League bats were made in the Pro
Shop here at this factory.
KR3 was created from a
desire to carry on this history, tradition and skill by
choosing to take the Pro Shop and open its doors to make
real professional bats for ball players within all
levels of baseball.
Offering the highest quality
products and service to all of our customers is our
first priority. Whether you choose in-stock or custom
turning all of our bats are made to Major League
standards.

Label Up/ Label Down
KR3 puts their logo on the bat in a particular spot,
one of the face grain sides of the bat. The face grain
is the weakest side of the bat. The logo lets a player
know where the face grain is so he can aim it straight
up in the air or straight towards the ground. Allowing
the control of making contact with the ball on the side
grains (or the strongest part) of the bat. Remember to
know where to face the logo.
SWEET SPOT - CONTACT POINT
Do not hit on either the handle or the end of the
bat. This is what causes most of the breakage.
